Hey there everyone! This is my first outfit of the day (OOTD) post, hope you enjoy it :)
I am currently pursuing my second graduate degree and working as a consultant, so I rarely get a chance to wear fun, casual clothes. When the opportunity does arise, I like to go all out! Today I had plans to shop in the Herald Square area and decided to wear this summery outfit:
Top and skirt - H&M
Belt - Rue 21 Outlet
Shoes - Bamboo brand from TJ Maxx

I love it! My only complaint is that (although it may be the sunny-ness of the picture?) I feel like the pink top looks so light that it blends in with your skin. Me, I like necklaces. I feel like, if you tried a very simple silver necklace with a basic matching pendent, the attention would be drawn away from the pink blending into your skin color and more to how the pink shirt is part of the skirt combination.
ReplyDeleteBut that's just me. I really haven't the slightest clue about fashion. For all I know, the necklace might be too much for the summery look. At any rate, my two cousins from near home are always my go-to on clothes! :D
i think it just seems to blend in in this picture b/c it is sunny. are you wearing any of your cool rings?

ReplyDelete@ SK: I was actually thinking of wearing a necklace..the heat is really making me lazy about that kind of stuff...I'm also really bored with my jewelry stash...must update!
ReplyDelete@ RK: Thanks! My hair has been behaving these days :) I accessorized with a strand of pearls bracelet and two gold rings, one with a pink stone and one with a white center.
